Władysław Brzosko

STILL LIFES

Władysław Brzosko painted still life compositions from his early years in New York City, but he focused on the genre during the 1990s. By then, due to his age, it became increasingly difficult for him to paint landscapes in the field. The objects he assembled for his still life compositions might rest unmoved on the table for several months, as he worked through the foundational color of the composition.
